PLEASE NOTE - EARLY BIRD AND REGULAR REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS WILL APPEAR AT CHECKOUT.  If your chapter will pay for the registration, please email us for the promo code.  Chapter must make payment at least 1 week in advance of the camp start date.

 

TI Camp is catered to individuals who are actively involved in their communities. After careful review, the registration committee will notify applicants via email their acceptance status. If your application is declined, payment will be reimbursed. The specific location of the campsite will be shared upon acceptance.

 

*** Please Note: To be considered for attending TI Camp, it is a mandatory requirement for all applicants to be able to attend the entire duration from Saturday, August 10th 2:00pm to Friday, August 16th 11:00am, exceptions will NOT be allowed ***

What are the goals of TIC?

We look forward to having you attend camp with us as:

  • an active members of the community, either in a MAS chapter or other community organization
  • a committed member of a MAS usra/halaqa or comparable tarbiya program or interested in being engaged in one

 

Please allow for at least 30-45min for this application. To best prepare, this application requires:

1) General Registration Information

2) 2 Leadership References (ie Usra/Halaqa/Community Leader)

3) a 250 word prompt (see below) 

In approximately 200 words, explain why you want to attend TI Camp this year. What do you seek to gain and benefit from attending? And what do you plan to do with the knowledge and skills gained afterwards?

We evaluate and weigh your personal statement in answering these questions heavily, and can be a big factor in the decision process of accepting applicants or not. Please do your best and take it seriously, spend some good time thinking and writing your response.
